Referral and Rebates

No referral needed

You don’t need a doctor’s referral to see a psychologist at 7 Psychology. If you’d like an appointment, simply book online or send an enquiry, and we’ll take it from there.

Medicare rebates

If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you’re eligible for a Medicare rebate on up to 10 sessions per year.

7 Psychology offers Medicare Online Claiming. Once you’ve paid for your session, we lodge the claim on your behalf and Medicare deposits the rebate straight into your bank account. No queues, no paperwork for you.

Sessions

Each session runs for 50 minutes. Most clients start with weekly or fortnightly sessions, adjusted based on what’s helpful for you.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we ask for at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations/rescheduling made inside that window are charged at the full session fee, and are not claimable through Medicare. Bulk billing

7 Psychology is not a bulk billing service.
